Emad Kilani has longstanding experience in the regional real estate and investment industries. As Chief Executive Officer of Al Maabar Jordan, he is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of Al Maabar’s flagship projects in the Kingdom, namely the Marsa Zayed project in Aqaba and The St. Regis Amman and The Residences at The St. Regis Amman.
Prior to joining Al Maabar, Kilani served as the Director of the Executive Office at the Prime Ministry, reporting directly to H.E. the Prime Minister of Jordan. He was in charge of high-level coordination between The Royal Hashemite Court and government ministries and institutions, and was responsible for following up on the implementation of royal initiatives in the government, His role also involved the facilitation of mega investments and development projects within the country, in addition to special assignments.
Kilani has extensive professional experience in Aqaba, where he worked as the Vice President for Investment and Corporate Affairs at the Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) and, prior to that, as Head of Business Development and Marketing at the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA). He was also a member of the Steering Committee for Development Zones in Jordan as well as the Vice Chairman of the Aqaba National Real Estate Projects Company. He has served on the boards of several other high profile companies, such as the Dead Sea Development Company, Aqaba Airports Company and the Aqaba International Schools Company.
Kilani has also worked for a number of blue chip companies operating in Silicon Valley, California, in the United States.
Kilani has a BSc. in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering with a minor in Business Management from California State University, in addition to being a Certified Project Manager.
